Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyTeacher website and mobile applications operated by MyTeacher FZ-LLC. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. The marketplace

MyTeacher is a marketplace that connects parents with independent private tutors. We verify tutors against KHDA standards but tutors are not employees of MyTeacher; they provide their services independently.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Parents are responsible for the information they provide about their children.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Bookings & payments

Lessons are requested and confirmed through the app, and paid for securely via our payment provider. Pricing, cancellation and refund terms will be displayed in the app at the time of booking.

4. Tutor obligations

• Provide accurate profile, qualification and verification information.
• Deliver lessons professionally and in line with applicable laws.
• Maintain appropriate conduct with families and children at all times.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to bypass payments, harass other users, or post unlawful or harmful content.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyTeacher is not liable for the acts or omissions of tutors or parents. The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

7. Changes & contact
